Whether you’re after a healthy snack, a guilt-free dessert, or just something to kill a chocolate craving – this recipe delivers. Fully vegan, gluten-free, and ready in about 10 minutes. That’s our kind of weekend date.
2 tbsp syrup (honey, agave, maple, or golden syrup)
50g Protein Works Only Peanuts peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
150g dark chocolate
1 tbsp coconut oil
Sea salt flakes, to top
Method
Add the dates, protein powder, cocoa powder, syrup, and peanut butter to a blender or food processor. Blend until everything comes together into a thick, sticky dough.
Scoop out even portions and roll firmly between your palms into smooth balls. Place on a lined baking tray.
Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil – in the microwave in 30-second bursts or over a bain-marie – stirring until glossy and smooth.
Roll each ball in the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off, then return to the tray.
Top immediately with a pinch of sea salt flakes and transfer to the fridge for 30 minutes (or the freezer for 15) until set.
Meal prep tip: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to 3 months. They’re ready to eat straight from the freezer in just a few minutes – great for grabbing on the go.
