Welcome to a recipe for dark chocolate whey protein cookies. The thing with whey protein powder in cookies is that they tend to come out ‘bready’ instead of really crunchy so they’re more like cookie-shaped muffins. Extremely tasty though! And packed full of protein. Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients:
7 grams of wheat bran (or gluten-free oat flour)
40 grams of buckwheat flour
2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder (around 40 grams) (Whey 360 would be perfect here, as would Upgrade Multi-Protein or Whey 80)
75 grams canned pumpkin
105 grams of liquid egg whites
25 grams of almond butter
1/2 tsp baking soda
Directions:
1. Mix the ingredients.
2. Put a piece of 86% dark chocolate inside before baking. Bake until ready.

These cookies and coffee…a favorite combo for sure!
Yum!!! This looks tasty! Like a perfect breakfast cookie!
Oh thats the great news for me. I just don’t like the whey protein powder’s taste. it just irritates me. but I love dark chocolate cookies.

hi john well if you do end up making these, add less whey and maybe throw in some rice protein. im gonna keep playing around with the recipe until i manage to make the perfect dark chocolate protein cookie though, one that’s high in protein yet doesn’t taste too much of whey and isn’t too ‘bready’
