Turkey Burrito on High Protein Tortillas

Low-carb/high-fiber tortillas with a kick!

190g egg whites
15g psyllium husks
5g wheat bran
1 teaspoon mustard
1/2 tablespoon tomato pure
paprika and green chile powder

Makes 4 tortillas.

red-pepper mix
red onions
soy sauce
turkey strips
coconut milk
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon tomato paste
red chili powder, paprika, parsley, and chipotle powder

1. Stuff the tortilla with the turkey/red-pepper mix that was cooked in the pan.

2. Add some soy sauce, let it sizzle, throw in turkey strips, brown them, add two already-roasted red peppers (sans the seeds), a bit of coconut milk, salt and pepper, a tbsp tomato paste, a hefty serving of red chili powder, paprika, parsley, and chipotle powder (cayenne pepper would be great here too!).

  1. Add some actual green chile if you have it handy!!! Also, you can blitz the roasted red pepper with the milk+spices in the blender and add THAT to the cooking turkey+onions so it’s all really creamy 🙂

  2. These look incredible! I browsed through your blog and recipes and you have some awesome recipes and ideas! I’m totally making as many of these protein creations as I can. 🙂
    Very creative!
