Oatless Vanilla Protein Flapjacks

Oatless Vanilla Protein Flapjacks

This recipe yields a delicious batch of flapjacks that are 100% oatless. Unlike traditional flapjacks, these flapjacks feature, in other words, no oats. Instead, they’re made with… beans! It sounds weird but, trust us, it works. Check this out:

Ingredients:

125 grams of canned butter beans (drained)
16 grams of liquid egg whites
48 grams of vanilla whey
80 grams of whole milk
14 grams of coconut flour
34 grams of hemp seeds (hulled hemp seeds)
14 grams of walnuts/pecans + grated orange peel (crucial)
1/4 tbsp of flavouring

Directions:

Cooked them in a medium-hot oven for about 15-minutes..

  1. This looks so good. Just wondering if I could use almond milk as sub for whole milk? Lactose problem here. 🙁

  2. When you say: Egg White Powder…

Do you mean egg white protein powder or powdered egg whites that they sell for baking and making meringue?
Sorry if that’s a stupid questions, but you usually specify when it’s protein powder.
