Chocolate Mousse (with Egg Protein Powder)

Are you looking for a super easy, delicious and low calorie protein dessert? Well, aren’t we all?

Well this Chocolate Protein Mousse recipe ticks all those boxes and more! 

Lets cut to the chase:

Ingredients:

27 grams egg white protein powder
31 grams chocolate whey protein powder
5 grams cocoa

Directions:

1. Beat the egg white protein powder to soft peaks

2. In a separate bowl, mix chocolate whey protein with actual 100% cocoa powder and some warm water until it looks like melted chocolate and then fold that into the whites. Dish into ramekins (and of course lick the bowl)

3. Stick in the fridge for a couple of hours and enjoy!

  1. yeah! a little bit of lukewarm water, not much, until they puff like meringue.

    PS: bear in mind that some powdered egg whites, especially those you buy in bulk, don’t always meringue so, for mousse and stuff, I always use the powdered egg whites you see in the bakery section of supermarkets 🙂
