Greens Powders: What Are They And Do They Really Work?

Supplementing with greens powders has become an increasingly popular method for many people to boost their nutrient intake without having to spend valuable time buying and preparing green vegetables. But what actually are greens powders and do you need to incorporate them in your diet?

It’s important to note that greens powders are not a straight replacement for any vegetables you already include in your diet, and you should always be striving to include more fruits and vegetables as part of a healthy, balanced diet. What greens powders are, however, are a simple and convenient way to get more greens in your diet, often blends of greens that many of us find challenging to incorporate into our diets.

Greens blends like our Super Greens are all rich in phytonutrients, botanical extracts, low in calories, and packed with vitamins and minerals. Our Super Greens blends contain a number of different greens including spirulina, spinach, wheatgrass, and broccoli. They also include Ashwagandha Eextract, Siberian ginseng (both popular adaptogen), Green Tea Extract, Yerba Mate, Cherry Extract, and, in the case of Super Greens Extreme, essential vitamins and minerals too (for a full breakdown of vitamins and minerals in Super Greens Extreme, click here).

There are many benefits to incorporating greens in your diet, especially our Super Greens, Diet Super Greens, or Super Greens Extreme blends. These range from supporting your immune system to reducing fatigue and contributing to brain function – all while being low in sugar and 100% plant based

Taking Super Greens is easy. Simply choose your favourite flavour (from our best selling Apple & Lemon Twist to a Mojito Classic!), mix it with water, shake, and presto! A nutrient-packed glass of greens is ready for you. You can mix your Super Greens with other things too. For example, you can incorporate a serving of Super Greens into your daily shake or smoothie. You can also mix it with juice if you want to end up with a fruitier drink. Most people start their day off by drinking Super Greens first thing, claiming this helps them start the day on the right footing – with a nutrient-dense drink to start the morning with. You can do this too or, if you prefer to have it later in the day, feel free to do that instead. To find out more about Super Greens, whether they are worth it, what happens when you start drinking greens, and whether and how fast greens work, please watch the video below:
