Protein Feta Quesadilla


1 tablespoon psyllium husks
1 tablespoon pea protein
1/2 tablespoon wheatbran
1 cup liquid egg whites
30g Feta cheese


1. Make tortilla with psyllium husks, pea protein, wheat bran, and liquid egg whites by blending together and frying in a pan.

2. Fill them with feta cheese, flip them over in the pan, and press them down to melt the cheese.

8g fat
7g carbs (2g sugars/4.2g fibre)
28g protein

  1. going to make these when I get back from holidays … really love this recipe. would be super awesome with hummus!!! hopefully also great with quark for the feta-free like me :)) love a healthy twist on a traditional food.

    Are you from Mexico? I’m just guessing that because you mentioned you grew up btw tacos, pozole, etc and that sounds so familiar to me cos I’m mexican

  3. I will make this! Have you tried using rice protein instead of the pea protein? I have that so I might try using it. Also, I will load mine with goat cheese, can’t wait! Yum!!

Thankfully I go back pretty regularly (to reload the system with mmmm nopales mmm queso panela mmmm aguacates y aaa papaya!!! hehe)
