This is the cake that I married off to the raw chocolate protein cake a couple of days ago π This bad boy here was great. It may not LOOK like much, but it was one hell of a cake bread. The perfect (in my opinion) accompaniment to coffee, tea, or, if you’re whack like me, a tea latte.
Ingredients:
54g vanilla whey protein powder
34g almond butter
53g quinoa flakes
14g pea protein powder
127g egg whites
3g vanilla flavoring powder
3g wheatbran
1g yannoh
Baking soda
Baking powder
Directions:
Mix everything together and bake for about 25 minutes.
Macros per serving (out of 8):
94.2kcals
3.6g fat (0.3g saturated)
6.2g carbs (1.3g fiber)
9.9g protein
I had it with almond butter on top and proceeded to dip it into coffee and later into a couple of tea lattes, booom! The nut butter made it crunchy and the yahnoo gave it a really nice malt-ish undercurrent which: oy: π It yields 8 slices.

This sounds great! But I’m not familiar with yahnoo. What is this and where do I purchase it?
Lori it’s Yannoh, a coffee substitute? it has chicory powder which gives it that nice malt flavor and barley powder et al. I don’t use it as a coffee substitute per se but added to cakes and muffins its really tasty π
yannoh is like a cereal coffee. its very popular in Poland π
Anna, i was wondering if you need any moist in that cake bread like eggs or egg whites or water for example so the mixture holds together? thanks ilona
OMG. I forgot to add the egg whites!!!! what a moron. I’m on it π
How many slices did you cut into to get those macros? And what size pan – a loaf pan? Thx!
SORRY! I just saw it made 8 slices! Also how much baking soda and baking powder?? In loaf pan?
1/2 teaspoon of each π I used a big square loaf pan but you can use any baking mold you want, use muffin tray even? π
