Taste is horrendous
Bought a package of chocolate silk, salted caramel, millionaire and vanilla and they all taste horrendous. The speculoos diet meal replacement taste is far superior. These are the worst protein shakes I've tastedA must try!
I was skeptical about trying a new brand of protein powder after all these years, but I have to say I’m glad I did…what a brilliant product. The taste and texture is amazing and it’s great value for money. Would definitely recommend!Not a keeper for me
I thought I'd try Protein Works after another brand beginning with M changed their recipe without warning and has become completely inedible. I bought the chocolate silk flavour. I've given it 3 stars because I can tell it's a good quality product, however unfortunately it doesn't work for me for a few reasons: 1. It makes a thick shake. The more powder you add, the thicker the shake becomes. This means that you can't customise your shake by adding more powder to a smaller amount of liquid. It would be too thick to drink, forcing you to either use less powder or add more liquid, which means less protein and more calories, which is not what I'm going for. 2. It doesn't really taste like chocolate? It tastes kind of biscuity, I guess. It's not a bad flavour, it's just not the intense chocolate flavour I'm looking for. It seems to be the most chocolatey flavour Protein Works offer, so that's the end of the line for me. 3. It's a bit gritty, which doesn't make for the best drinking experience. So unfortunately not for me, and my search for a new protein brand continues.careful which flavour you choose
I brought the vanilla and chocolate silk. The vanilla tasted and smelt just like playdoh and was undrinkable. I tried mixing it with other fruits and the chocolate one but all you can taste is playdoh. However the chocolate is beautiful. Very smooth as tastes amazingTaste terrible and doesn’t mix well
