Perimenopause has lead me to reevaluate my health, so about 6 months ago, I started looking for ways to increase my protein intake to preserve muscle while losing fat. After considering various options I chose Protein Works. The meal replacement shakes have been a godsend while navigating hot flushes during the summer months when I really couldn’t be bothered to make more than one plate of real food per day. I’ve tried the vast majority of flavours and really look forward to a different one each breakfast and lunch. They do not aggravate my IBS or gluten sensitivity at all, which I’m thrilled by because the Speculoos shake is delicious. They mix very well; I use a fork in a mug with water, then top up with milk (so about 2 parts water to 1 part milk). The only flavour I didn’t like (aside from the banana ones which I avoided) was Strawberries and Cream - I found it quite artificial. And Chocolate Silk is a bit weak compared with the far superior Bueno and Coconut Party variants. All the rest are fab! Really good quality, and they taste like the flavour they’re supposed to be. Each shake honestly feels like a treat to me. They keep my hunger at bay for upto 5 hours and I still have good energy for 20 minutes of weights plus an hour on the walking pad most days. I’m very pleased to say that the shakes have helped me lose 30lbs in around 6 months. Some might think these weight-loss numbers a bit conservative, but the losses are consistent, I feel strong, and I still enjoy healthy snacks and a varied array of homemade evening meals, aiming for around 1700 calories per day. I have another 12lbs to go to hit a healthy BMI, and then I’ll be dropping to one shake per day while I reintroduce some batch-cooked meals. Overall I have been very happy with this product and would happily recommend it to friends and family.

I love these shakes. For someone who struggled having breakfast these shakes make it so easy for me. I'm nearly at my goal weight as well and I truly believe these shakes have massively helped me get there. White choc raspberry swirl is absolutely lush, as well as caramel latte. HOWEVER, I really thought I'd love Chocolate Suprise, but it unfortunately tastes like how playdoh smells!

These are just the best shakes. They are everything I would expect from a shake, thick and creamy and keep me full from breakfast till lunch easily. You can adjust the thickness of the shake by adding more or less water to the mix so if a thicker shake is for you - add a little less water than the suggested amount. These are the best protein/weight loss shakes I have tasted and are working really well for me. I love all the flavours but banana is my favourite.

I've been having this for an easy working lunch recently. I usually can't stand shakes with water and need to blend them with milk in the morning but this works with water in the shaker from the bundle really well. There's a slight texture and oaty after taste but not unpleasant at all. Really enjoying this several weeks later and will be ordering again.

Started the shakes today for my new job, I am out and about so it saves me time/money on food. The Chocolate silk is very filling. I had at 11am.... its now 3pm and I'm still not hungry! Fingers crossed this carries on and the lbs fall off. Would recommend based on taste and how filling it is.
