What happened to the strawberries and cream flavour??
I’ve been having the strawberries and cream vegan protein for the last few years, I’ve always enjoyed the flavour and have been really happy with it. I placed an order again a few weeks ago and saw that the name had changed to gold innovation, I assumed it was just a rebrand but having tasted it I’ve gotta say it’s been completely ruined by whatever changes have been made to the ingredients, it tastes awful and feel like I’m trying to force it down instead of enjoying it like I always have. I’ve bought 8kg of it and it’s probably gonna end up in the bin. Im a customer of around 8 years but Il be looking for a different supplier in the future.Always come back to this protein

Gutted that the millionaire shortbread flavour has disappeared, it's so good especially when super cold in the summer...please bring in back in all your rangesNew formula is awful!
I’ve been getting protein works vegan protein for about a year now, either from Amazon or the website directly. I was happy with the flavour of the standard vegan protein chocolate silk option, it wasn’t the best I’ve tasted but since turning to vegan protein, I was happy with it for now and it’s reasonable price. Since the launch of ‘360 gold’ I have attempted to order this twice, and have only received 1 of the 3 bags as this new formula. I didn’t realise this would be a good thing, because honestly this new formula tastes awful! It has such an artificial, sweet caramel-like taste that is hard to get down. It is such a downgrade from the original formula, to the point that I’m glad the supplier messed up and got my order wrong twice. I will be avoiding this new formula like the plague and hope that I can continue to buy the old stuff - otherwise I will find another brand completely! P.S. I was going to buy the 2kg from Amazon, but it was priced at £60! The 1kg was only £12 which is reasonable, so I purchased 2 of these for nearly half the price. Not sure what they were thinking. Thankfully I only got 1 of these 360 gold blend that I ordered and not 2, otherwise I’d have to throw it all away! My previous order was 2kg of what I thought was going to be the gold blend, luckily it was the old formula otherwise I would have wasted a good chunk on this stuff!DO NOT BUY - FORMULA HAS CHANGED - INEDIBLE
I first purchased a 500g of Chocolate Silk in January 2026, and it was delicious! I was very happy with my order. I ran out, so I decided in Feb 2026 to buy the 1kg version. Wow - it's absolutely disgusting. So much so, I went on live chat to say they must have sent me the wrong thing because it literally made me gag. I was informed that the formula has changed, and this is a new protein powder - although nowhere on the product page does it say 'new' or 'changed'. I feel utterly mislead, and they refused to refund me. DO NOT BUY THIS - they have no vegan proteins in the old formula. It'll honestly be the worst thing you've ever tasted. AVOID!'New and improved' Gold formula lacking
I ordered 4 bags on the new 'Gold Innovation' only to be sent old stock of their old vegan protien, which despite them telling me it is the same has completly diffferent nutritional information. The new price changes has made my standard order cost 20% more compared to last year and to not even recive new product for this astronomical price hike is simply unacceptable.
