Logistics Shift Supervisor 

This role is based within our production facility in Runcorn and has the following main responsibilities:

• Aid in implementing our Logistics strategy meeting the highest quality possible.
• Provide effective coaching, development and leadership to the logistics team on shift.
• Ensure that our logistics team is highly reliable, responsive and competitive, and one that puts safety, quality and delivery first.
• Set exacting floor standards and transforming the culture whilst leading the overall site change process, by demonstrating what ‘good’ looks like.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements as needed
• Managing and delivering the cost per unit planned for the shift through effective staff management. 

The successful candidate needs to be a true people person with a passion and resilience to deliver results

1. Management of the Logistics facility 6am-2pm working Monday-Friday.
2. Aid the Logistics Manager to develop a solid staffing plan and improve quality of staffing on shift, and reduce reliance of temporary colleagues.
3. Build a strong Logistics team with the ability to coach and develop the team to achieve their best performance.
4. Logistics KPI reporting to key stakeholders daily.

• Clear and proven experience as Supervisor that is ready to step up when required to provide cover for the Logistics Manager.
• Proven experience and an impressive track record of managing medium size teams
• Highly organised and excellent verbal and written skills
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence at various levels
