International Trade Account Manager – Job Description

  • Maintain and build relationships with current trade accounts
  • Negotiate and achieve commercial sales targets and deliver internal margin expectations
  • Manage promotions and up sell new products to current trade customers
  • Process trade orders. Manage orders through supply chain and arrange/agree payment plans
  • Liaise with third party carrier, consignee, and supply chain to ensure orders leave us and arrive at the destination within a timely manner
  • Manage NPD launches and product discontinuations, communicate both with trade accounts
  • Develop close relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure and facilitate a smooth supply chain International Business Strategy
  • Liaise directly with commercial sales director to formulate and deliver international business strategy New Business
  • Seek out leads on potential new business
  • Research and assess leads, feedback recommendations directly to the commercial sales director
  • Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure any necessary documentation and paperwork is in place
  • Mange and oversee the product registration process in new markets
  • Negotiate commercial terms Marketing, New Lead Generation and Travel
  • Support the international strategy and new business strategy by visiting appropriate trade shows in various markets at the request of the commercial director
  • Travel to visit new and existing accounts to help relationships and account management
