Been using the protein Works products foe a while now and just want to try something different so I ordered some of these savoury meals, Wow Wow Wow bought 3 different flavours, they just literally just arrived on my door step, opened the box and tried the Bangin Burrito first Oh My God it's absolutely delicious 2 scoops into the protein works bowl boiling water, left it for 2-3mo uses quick stir and boomSo good!
I love these meals, especially the Thai Curry and Mac & Cheese! I’ve found them so useful for work lunches, and was surprised at the difference it made to my mental workload- before I was shopping and prepping healthy lunches, and these save so much time. The flavours are delicious, I love that there’s so many flavours, and they’re really satisfying. I really don’t understand the bad reviews- I’m definitely a picky eater and I love them, plus if you’re trying to go plant based that’s all done for you. I used to have sandwiches and salads at the work café for lunch, and it's tricky to measure the macros. Even the salads often come soaked in oil and unknown quantities of carbs. Fed up of guessing my nutrients and struggling to shift a few lbs, I recently gave these a whirl. I was a bit apprehensive—they seem to be a Marmite product, with love it / hate it reviews—but in all honesty I reckon these are a real winner. I've loved all the flavours I've tried so far, and I find it's best to make it in a vacuum food flask, as it gets a better texture. I've even made the smaller portion option to go with some meat or fish and vegetables for a quick midweek dinner. I'm saving money too, as it works out much cheaper. Not to mention those stubborn lbs are finally coming off. Sack off the sarnies and try one!Unpleasant
I've tried 3 flavours of these now. Firstly, they look nothing like the advert videos, they're completely fake! They also all have the same unpleasant musty taste that makes me feel quite ill after eating them. I had to return the Thai curry one as it was completely inedible and I replaced it with the Mac n cheese. I thought they couldn't go wrong with that but I was mistaken. Same unpleasant taste and odd texture. Korean noodle is the best out of the 3 but still wouldn't get again and I put a lot of nice seasoning in to give it a nicer taste. Really disappointed that these are so bad as I spent a lot of money on them and they don't refund opened items, but you can't try it without opening it.
