The Role

Reporting to the Head of Paid Media and Insights, the newly created role of Senior Paid Search Executive continues the expansion of our in-house digital marketing team. The role will primarily support the execution of paid search campaigns across multiple territories and be responsible for driving the profitable spend of a multi-million-pound budget. The role will also support the execution of broader paid media campaigns, including Display, YouTube and Paid Social. Sitting within the wider marketing team, who are always looking for ways to automate, optimise and improve efficiency, you will share responsibility for delivering against all KPIs within the business

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritise and deliver paid media campaigns including PPC (Google Search and Shopping, Bing), Display, Video and Social to drive revenue growth.
  • Continual monitoring, maintenance and optimisation of paid search campaigns to hit key KPIs whilst ensuring growth targets are met.
  • Conducting keyword research to identify and test new opportunities leading toan increase in campaign performance.
  • Auditing Search Term Reports and managing Negative Keyword lists to generate high quality traffic.
  • Testing new ideas for Ad Copy, Landing Pages, Ad Extensions, Audiences and Shopping Feed Content.
  • Daily / Weekly / Monthly reporting on all marketing activity.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends in paid search and across digital marketing/sports nutrition.

  • Commercial: Good knowledge of the market and able to research competitors, current trends and identify ways to improve the overall marketing performance.

  • Numerate & Analytical: Must be comfortable analysing large data sets, drawing conclusions and using findings to drive positive change.
  • Communication: Great communication and writing skills, including an understanding of PPC terminology.
  • Administration: Excellent administration skills and attention to detail to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard.

  • Minimum Requirements

  • Degree educated.
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (In-house preferred, but will consider Agency)
  • Must have Retail experience including managing Google Shopping campaigns.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using Google Merchant Centre and working on Feed Optimisation (desirable).
  • Experience working with Google Scripts (preferable).
