Great protein hit!
These pancakes are low in calories but high in protein which is the main reason I bought them. Each serving makes 3 decent sized american style pancakes. Very easy to make, just add milk or water to one scoop of the pancake mix. I do prefer it made with milk. I've found they do taste rather plain but I think that's because theres no sugar in them. So to combat this I use the butterscotch zero calorie/fat/carb syrup to dribble over the top of them once made. It makes a nice treat! Great for breakfast too, because they are high in protein they do fill you up.

Golden Syrup Flavour
I have tried these in both flavours now and feel the Golden Syrup flavour is the nicest of the two, i do find these to be a more suitable alternative to the regular protein pancakes due to being more diet friendly by being lower in fat and also more filling in general, i like to alternate between the two because this version has more unique flavours which make it varied to the normal protein pancake mix, this also works great as a breakfast or post workout meal. For Free Protein Use My Referral Code: JM15339 I tend to top it with the zero syrup when dieting to add more flavour, the butterscotch one works very well for the golden syrup flavour pancake mix, but also maple or matching golden syrup work well to pour over the top to make these sweeter and moisten them to make them easier to consume, i usually combine these with a whey 360 shake to make them easier to consume if they are a little dry if i have cooked them thick by using less than the recommend water. When dieting i tend to avoid the nut butters on top of these but i am sure they would be epic if topped with some of the Cacao Almond Butter or Super Awesome Rawtella, or even the Peanut Butter Luxe in the range of awesome flavours. To save calories when cooking i switch from my usual coconut oil to some of the 1 kcal sprays in the coconut or avocado variants.

Serving Size: 40g serving.

To create the perfect TPW™ Diet Protein Pancake simply follow these directions:

  • Add 40g (one large heaped grey scoop) to 80-100ml of milk or water, depending how thin you want your pancake to be. Less liquid will give you a thicker American style pancake. More liquid will give you a thinner crepe style pancake.
  • Mix lightly with a fork.
  • Leave the batter to rest for 1-2 minutes.
  • Gently heat a non-stick pan with a light coating of oil over a moderate heat (we recommend using TPW Coconut Oil)
  • When the pan is warmed then add 2 tablespoons of the batter into the pan, and repeat to form 3 round pancakes in the pan.
  • Cook GENTLY for one and a half minutes until the pancake begins to "fluff" up, then flip over and cook for a further one minute until evenly golden brown on both sides.
  • Immediately take the hot pancakes out of the pan and eat straight away with your preferred choice of toppings.

  • Top with a liberal swirl of TPW™ Zero Syrups.
  • Mix in a pinch of cinnamon to the batter before cooking.
