What to do next....

After several years of helping grow one of the largest sports nutrition brands in the UK, I decided it was time to move on. Time for a change and in need something new to sink my teeth into, something that's going to get the blood pumping again, something that really is a challenge. Despite opportunities in other sectors and big ones at that, nothing seems to get me excited like sports nutrition. I love sports nutrition and all things fitness. Playing a very small part in helping people achieve their fitness goals, I cant think of anything better than that.

With lots of similar brands in sports nutrition these days, things all feel a bit bland in my view. And with so much money being pumped into the sector, it's not like it used to be. With big corporates now involved, you would think the customer is on to a winner. But from what I see and hear, customers are getting a raw deal. Now the government has decided to weigh in as well and put 20% VAT on sports supplements.

I think there are so many things that could be done better for customers. Service never seems to be high on any brand's list of priorities. The quality of products from a few brands is top notch, but still there's room for improvement. And value for money has never been more important than now. Everyone is feeling the pinch or more like the smack in the face as dished out by George Osborne.

It would be really cool if customers could get a much more personal service when it comes to sports nutrition. After all, everyone is different. Different body type, different goals, different budgets, different tastes, etc etc. Anyway enough already, loads of ideas flying around and need some sleep...
