Hydrolysed Whey Protein
Hydrolysed Whey Protein is considered the ideal protein to be taken post workout because it's rapidly absorbed by the body and so accelerates the entire recovery process by delivering protein and amino acids to the muscles as quickly as possible. No other protein is absorbed as quickly and this is why Hydrolysed Whey is used by strength athletes wanting to build muscle or endurance athletes wanting to enhance the entire recovery process.
Boasting a protein content of 85% (dry basis), Hydrolysed Whey offers both a high amount of protein and a rapid rate of absorption. This enviable profile means it delivers a large amount of protein directly to the muscles as quickly as possible.
Hydrolysed Whey Protein Explained
Hydrolysed Whey Protein is made through a process known as hydrolysis. This is where the protein chains are broken down into smaller segments called peptides which results in a much smaller protein particle size. This in turn means the protein has a much faster rate of digestion and absorption and can therefore improve the entire recovery and protein synthesis process.
Lastly, Hydrolysed Whey Protein has a superior bio-availability compared to whey protein isolate. This is ideal post workout as it helps to shuttle nutrients to the muscles, kick-start the recovery process and ultimately improve muscular growth, repair and recovery.

Great product, 10/10
- 16 April 2015
It is pre digested whey protein isolate so proteins are broken down into pep-tide form allowing for easier absorption your body does not have to break it down for use.
It makes for a great recovery post workout protein and is faster absorbed than whey isolate which is exactly what you want as soon as you finish your workout to kick-start muscle growth and recovery.
A great combination would be 50/50 with HYDRO whey and Cluster Dextrin to provide both fast release carbs and proteins for glycogen replenishment as well as muscle building fuel.
10/10 a great product for some one who requires very fast absorbing protein, when used in the past this greatly reduced post workout soreness and helped with gaining more lean muscle.
A great product for competition prep.

A. Hydrolysed Whey Protein is usually taken immediately after training due to its rapid absorption rate and ability to kick-start the entire recovery process better than most other proteins.
Q. What does Hydrolysed Whey Protein taste like?
A. Hydrolysed Whey Protein is similar to Whey Protein Isolate, but does have a slight bitter after taste due to the process it goes through to breakdown the protein particle size.
Q. How much protein should I take?
A. It is recommended that you take 1g of protein per pound of body weight, so adjust your intake accordingly.
Q. Why do I need to take protein shake?
A. Consuming a protein shake can help muscle growth. It is a widely researched fuel that has been shown to help muscle growth, recovery and repair after intense exercise or workout.
Q. Is all Hydrolysed Whey Protein the same, regardless of which brand it is?
A. As a customer, we believe it is not only your right to demand the best, but also that you know you're getting the best. It is very true to say that not all proteins are created equal! We are committed to transparency and openness in all our products and that is why we provide the following information on Hydrolysed Whey Protein and all our protein products: Product Profile - a complete overview of the product's background including our approval, location of manufacture and money back guarantee applicability; Protein Insight - a complete breakdown of the types and quantities of protein contained in the product; Product Testing - an up to date certificate of analysis which provides independent verification of the protein content. If you don't buy from TPW™, we would urge you to demand this information from your current supplier. Simple as that!

A. Yes it is suitable for vegetarians but not for vegans.
Q. Is Hydrolysed Whey Protein absorbed as quickly as whey protein?
A. Yes. Hydrolysed Whey Protein is considered the fastest release protein, so makes it the ideal source to use post workout for repair and recovery.
Q. Can I take Hydrolysed Whey Protein with other supplements?
A. Yes absolutely. In fact many people like to mix Hydrolysed Whey Protein with a fast absorbing carbohydrate such as Dextrose or Waxy Maize Starch. This ensures the carbohydrates rapidly replenish muscle glycogen levels whilst the protein serves to repair and regrow the muscles post workout.
Q. Can I take too much protein?
A. If you don't burn the excess calories that come with the additional protein, it may lead to increased body fat. No other side effects have been noted.
Q. How do I make the perfect whey protein shake?
A. There are a few things to bear in mind if you are looking to make the perfect protein shake. First of all you need a quality protein like our Hydrolysed Whey Protein. You will also need a decent blender rather than a shaker. We recommend the TPW™ Master Blender. Then pour your preferred amount of liquid into the blender. Bear in mind that milk will provide a creamier shake but water will avoid the extra fat that comes with milk. Next, drop one scoop of protein into the liquid, screw on the lid and shake well. It's not rocket science, but follow the basic principles and you'll be making great tasting shakes for years to come.
Q. What if any side effects will I get from taking Hydrolysed Whey Protein?
